Property & Construction

Developers, contractors, fit-out firms and real estate platforms.

The shape of it here

Construction and property businesses build their reputation on what they've completed — and almost never own the evidence of it properly. Project photography gets taken by whoever was on site with a decent camera. Ten years later the firm has a portfolio it can't prove it's allowed to publish.

Development names are their own problem. A tower gets named during planning, the name appears in the press, and someone registers the domain before the developer does.

What we usually find

  • Portfolio photography with no written release from the photographer, and sometimes none from the client whose building it is
  • Project and development domains registered by third parties, occasionally by brokers who noticed a planning notice
  • Joint-venture branding with no agreement about who owns the mark afterwards
  • Source files for completed project branding lost with the supplier who made them
  • A real-estate platform whose page title is a keyword string rather than a brand line

What we do about it

  • Photography rights audit across the whole portfolio, with written releases obtained retroactively where possible
  • Development name clearance before the name goes public, with domains and handles registered defensively at the same time
  • Joint-venture asset agreements — who owns what when the venture ends
  • One organised, licensed, versioned project archive; portfolio production with rights secured as part of the shoot

Pillars that matter most: Ⅲ Digital Assets → Ⅰ Branding → Ⅳ Digital Marketing
