Services/Brand Alignment

Brand Alignment

Align it. Brand management as an ongoing service — every place your brand appears, checked against the standard, fixed, and kept that way. The account your business gives of itself, made true everywhere.

What goes wrong without it

Signage drifts first.

The signwriter redraws the logo by eye. The proportions are slightly off. Nobody notices for two years. Now the building says something different from the website.

The website uses a different blue.

The developer picked a colour close to the brand one. Close enough that nobody objected, different enough that side by side they clash.

Nine email signatures.

Every staff member made their own. Three fonts, two logos, four phone formats.

Google says something else.

Old hours, an old tagline, a pin eighty metres off, a category from a previous business at the same address.

The listings disagree.

Booking.com, Agoda, TripAdvisor and the directory each spell the property name differently, which fragments both search and reviews.

The name has three spellings.

One way in the logo, another in the domain, a third in the Instagram bio — all of them on properties the business controls.

Nobody owns it.

The brand was delivered as a PDF. Marketing, operations, HR and the front desk each apply it as they understand it. There is no one whose job it is.

How it runs

01 · two weeks

Audit

Every touchpoint found, photographed and scored. You get the Alignment Report whether or not you continue.

02 · four to twelve weeks

Alignment

Depends on the gap list. Digital fixes are immediate; signage and print run on supplier timelines.

03 · monthly

Governance

Scaled to touchpoints, locations and channels. A single-site business and a four-property group are different jobs.

What you own at the end

The Alignment Report, current and versioned. Every template in its original editable format. Every listing and profile owned by your business and verified in your name. A brand that agrees with itself, and the means to keep it that way.

Questions

We already have guidelines. Do we need this?

Guidelines are the standard. Alignment is whether the standard is being met. In practice we've never audited a business with guidelines and found every touchpoint compliant — the guidelines are usually fine and the application has drifted.

Can you fix our Google listing?

Yes, and usually the OTA and directory listings too. Ownership disputes and platform queues take as long as they take; we chase them.

Our staff keep making their own materials.

That's the most common source of drift and the easiest to fix: give them templates that are easier to use than starting from scratch, and a simple way to ask when something new is needed.

Is this just brand policing?

It's brand management. The point isn't to say no; it's to make the right version the easy version, so the brand looks the same everywhere without anyone having to think about it.

Branding creates the standard. Alignment enforces it. Assets & Security make sure you own what's being enforced. Marketing multiplies it.
